Three Rivers Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Ian Dent

Co-Pastor - Elder

How He Serves

As Pastor of Administration, Pastor Ian oversees the day to day operations of the church. He is responsible for our important church documents as well as policies and procedures to keep us operating smoothly and within the confines of the law. He oversees the Finance team to ensure 3RC is fiscally responsible to enable real ministry to take place. Pastor Ian also oversees the counseling ministry and upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our facilities.

Family

Pastor Ian met Kari while attending Winthrop. They were married on May 17, 1986 (Kari’s birthday) in Orangeburg, SC and have lived, courtesy of the Navy, in Washington, Alabama, and Connecticut before moving to Georgia in 1994 to be stationed in Kings Bay. Ian and Kari live in St. Marys and have two grown children and an awesome granddaughter.

Other Interests

Ian is a life-long Chicago sports fan. He also enjoys cycling, riding his motorcycle, woodworking, hanging out by the pool, and fixing things. He is an avid collector of challenge coins.

Experience

Pastor Ian served honorably in the U.S. Navy’s submarine community for 23 years and retired as a Master Chief Machinist’s Mate in September 2006. He was ordained in 1999 while in the Navy and was actively involved in lay ministry. He entered full time vocational ministry after his retirement from the Navy.

Ian has degrees in General Studies, Pastoral Studies, Liberal Arts, and Pastoral Leadership. He is also a trained biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. He is the Supervising Chaplain and patrol supervisor for the St. Marys Police Department, and serves as a Chaplain with the Southeast Georgia Health System.

Zane Owens

Co-Pastor - Elder

How He Serves

As pastor of missions and evangelism, Zane leads our faith family to be active in local, national, and global missions and leads us to be intentionally evangelistic in our day to day lives. Zane’s greatest passion in ministry is disciple-making; simply following the biblical model of sharing the faith, teaching the Word of God, and mentoring others. Because of this passion, Zane has a driving desire to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples of all nations. Pastor Zane says that he has the best job in the world because he gets paid to tell people about Jesus!

Family

After dating for seven years, Zane married Sabrina, his high school sweetheart in May 2000. They have two children: Elissa (2009) and Jude (2013.).

Other Interests

Zane enjoys spending time with his family, camping, off-roading, hanging out at the beach and pretty much everything that has to do with the ocean. He is a lifelong musician and enjoys playing the bass, piano, and singing. Zane is also an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan.

Experience

Ordained in 2007, Zane has served in various ministry positions since 1996 including ten years singing tenor with a southern gospel quartet. As Family Pastor at Three Rivers Church, Pastor Mike keeps a vision of winning families to Christ and discipling them to a greater maturity in keeping with 1 Peter 3:18 before the church body, staff and elders. Pastor Mike passionately cares for the flock visiting the sick and helping people connect with one another in the church body.

Family

Mike is married to Genia Roddy, and they have two grown children, Caleb and Chelsie. They have six grandchildren.

Other Interests

Mike enjoys playing the acoustic guitar and singing worship music. He also loves to play golf and considers it "ministry time" with those he is playing with. He is also a New Orleans Saints fan. He loves college football and especially his Florida Gators! Pastor Mike can often be found under a car, moving furniture, or assisting people in whatever need they may have.

Experience

After serving in the U.S. Navy for 6 years, Mike intended to pursue a career in law enforcement. God had other plans and called Mike into His service. A very talented musician, Mike has utilized his skills and his rapport with teens as a tool for working with student ministries. Mark Lang

Associate Pastor - Elder

How He Serves

As Pastor of Education, Mark oversees Sunday school, Children's Church, and Community Groups at Three Rivers Church. It is his job to make certain that class structure meets the needs of our growing church and that the curriculum in use is biblical and follows the doctrine of our church.

Family

Mark married his high school sweetheart, Marcia Reynolds in 1994. Mark and Marcia have two children, Savannah Leigh (2001) and Camden Mark (2003).

Other Interests

Mark is an avid sports fan. He is the Head Football Coach at Camden Middle School. He's loved the New Orleans Saints since he was a little guy and also loves the Rebels of Ole Miss. Mark can also be found on the golf course in his spare time.

Experience

He was ordained in March of 2011. His passion is teaching the Word of God using the same teaching style that he uses in the classroom to help people write the Word of God on the tablet of their hearts. Pastor Mark has degrees in Middle School Education, Leadership, and Educational Leadership. He answers to Mr. Lang, Dr. Lang, Coach Lang and Pastor. Pastor Mark also serves as the sponsor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at Camden Middle School. It was serving in FCA that drew Pastor Mark to ministry.

Caleb Roddy

Worship & Youth Pastor - Elder

How He Serves

As worship pastor, Caleb oversees all music and worship gatherings at 3RC and is responsible for all production aspects at 3RC including video, sound, and lighting used during services. His greatest call is to prepare the hearts and minds of congregation through Praise and Worship for the Word of God to be shared.

Caleb also serves as the Youth Pastor at 3RC. He directs the ministries to Middle School and High school students to help them develop a faith that sticks into college and beyond. He partners with parents, chooses capable adult volunteers, and prepares quality events for our students. He loves the opportunity to build relationships with teens and help them develop their identity in Christ in this critical time in their life.

Family

Caleb has been married to Kelly since 2011 and she works beside him leading the youth at 3RC. They have three little boys Canon (2013), Oliver (2015), and Greyson (2017).

Other Interests

Caleb loves a lot of aspects of music including listening, writing, and performing. He loves to watch and participate in many different sports. One of his favorite spots when not with his family is the local gym. Caleb is also a die hard Boston Celtics and Florida Gators fan.

Experience

Caleb was ordained in 2015 and has been leading worship for over 10 years. He has led worship for local community youth programs, previous local churches, and now at 3RC. Caleb also joins other musicians to play at Christian Youth Camps and events around the country.
