english as a second language

We offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes throughout the year at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Our classes are led by trained volunteers who have faithfully committed to sowing into the education of others needing to learn English or those seeking to advance their English-speaking abilities. Our church has a heart for refugees and immigrants, and it is our desire to be a friend to foreigners in the United States. We are excited to help those in our community learn and grow. Three Rivers Church welcomes anyone with a desire to learn English. Individuals are welcome regardless of their English speaking ability.

The ESL program at Three Rivers Church meets during the week and generally follows the calendar of the public school system with holiday and summer breaks. A class schedule/calendar will be provided when participants come to class.

Three Rivers Church asks for a $20.00 donation for the year-long program; however, no person will be turned away for monetary reasons. Resources and materials will be provided throughout the year to help each learner.

Participants are encouraged to use the double glass doors on the Education Wing. Registration is open throughout the program year. New learners are welcome at any time during the school year.

Classes meet on Tuesdays from 6:00PM to 7:30PM at Three Rivers Church located at 101 Miller Street, St. Marys, GA 31558.
